Attention parents of morning drop off students

We will have a slight shift in our morning procedures during the mornings of below freezing temperatures. Staff members will still be doing the daily student temperature checks. The temperature checks will be moved into the doorways of the building. Deputy Turner will remain in the parking lot for supervision and Mr. Wheeless will be at the top of the bridge to monitor students as they come up the steps and cross the bridge. The teachers you usually see in the parking lot will be in the doorways of the building to check temps as the students enter. We will call you if there is a problem with your child's temp.

Remote Learning Agreement Links and Information

The Thomaston-Upson School System is offering a remote learning option for parents who desire to have their student receive instruction from home. A limited number of electronic devices will be available for check-out to remote learning students. Reliable Internet access must be available at home for students utilizing this option. Parents who select the remote learning option for their student must complete the online application, available on the district homepage at www.upson.k12.ga.us, by November 13th. School personnel will begin contacting applicants after the application window closes. Parents choosing the remote learning option must commit to the full second semester grading period (including 3rd and 4th nine weeks) for students in grades K-12.  Once the agreement is complete, it is a binding agreement for your child to participate in remote learning for the second semester January 6 through May 27, 2021.
